Specify behavior of the SQL debugger and Referenced Tables view on the SQL Debugger preferences page.
To set SQL debugger preferences:
Select Window|Preferences from the main menu bar.
The Preferences dialog box appears.
Expand Sybase, Inc in the left pane.
Select Database Development|SQL Debugger.
Select whether to Disable breakpoint toggling when the editor is dirty:
Always.
Prompt (Default)
Select options for Referenced Tables:

Field | Explanation |

Automatically refresh referenced tables and table's contents when debugging | Select to refresh Referenced Tables view whenever a table changes in the database, so that you can see changes made by other running procedures or other users immediately. |
Show row number | Select to display the row number in the referenced tables view. (Default.) |
Maximum rows to display | Set the maximum number of rows displayed in the Referenced Tables view. Enter 0 to display all rows. (Default is 500.) |
Display null value as | Specify the characters to display in the referenced tables view when the value from the database is null. (Default is NULL.) |
Specify the External client session detection interval (ms). This option is the maximum wait time for connecting to an external client while debugging. Default is 5000 ms.
