Specify user preferences for developing, executing, and debugging procedural objects.
These are client-side preferences.
To set Database Development general tooling preferences:
Select Window|Preferences from the main menu bar.
The Preferences dialog box appears.
In the left pane, expand Sybase, Inc and select Database Development.
To display the "Press F2 for focus" message in hover help (ToolTips), select Show affordance in hover on how to make it sticky. If you make a hover message sticky, the message text opens in a scrollable window from which content can be selected and copied.
Select the action taken on an error during SQL execution.
Always—Always continues execution when an error occurs.
Never—Always stops execution when an error occurs.
Prompt—Interrupts execution on each error, displaying a dialog to resume execution. (Default)
Select whether to save before renaming when SQL editor is dirty: Always or Prompt. (Default)
This preference defines behavior when you change from SQL Editor to another view or perspective.
Select whether to show a warning when a SQL file or procedural object is renamed: Never or Prompt. (Default)
This standard warning reminds you that renaming an object can affect other objects. For example, if you rename a procedure that is called by another procedure, you must edit the calling procedure as well.
