Specify defaults for creating new databases on the Adaptive Server Enterprise tab of the Create Database preferences page.

| Field | Explanation |

Database section Name: | Logical device name for the database. Default is Workspace_data_device. The physical device name is generated automatically as $Database_Device_name$_phy.dat. The default physical name is Workspace_data_device_phy.dat. |
Database section Size(M): | Logical device size, in megabytes, of the database. Default is 5M. |
Log section Name: | Logical device name for the log. Default is Workspace_log_device. The physical device name is generated automatically as $Log_Device_name$_phy.dat. The default physical name for the log device is Workspace_log_device_phy.dat |
