Extending or Upgrading a Sybase WorkSpace License

Use the Sybase WorkSpace preferences dialog to view current license information, extend an Evaluation license, or upgrade to one of the following license types:

WorkSpace MX
WorkSpace MX Enterprise
WorkSpace TX
WorkSpace TX Enterprise

To extend or upgrade a Sybase WorkSpace license:

Open the Preferences dialog. Select Window|Preferences from the main menu bar.
Display the License dialog in the right pane. Expand the Sybase, Inc category in the left pane, and select License - Sybase WorkSpace.
The name of the current license is displayed in the title bar.

Select the action you want to perform.

License Action

Type	Description
Review current license information (default)	Allows you to review the Order number, Feature name, and Authorization code of the currently licensed product.
Upgrade/Change license	Enter the Order number, Feature name, and Authorization code of the license you want to upgrade to in the Value column.
Extend Evaluation license	Enter the Order number, Feature name, and Authorization code of the Evaluation license extension in the Value column. Note This option only appears when your current key is an Evaluation license.

Enter the Order number, Feature name, and Authorization code of the license you want to upgrade to in the Value column.

Extend Evaluation license

Enter the Order number, Feature name, and Authorization code of the Evaluation license extension in the Value column.

Note

This option only appears when your current key is an Evaluation license.

Click OK or Apply to accept your changes.
