Eclipse file associations control which editors open files with a particular file extension. The following table describes the extensions for files that can be opened in the Sybase XML Editor in the default configuration.
Extensions supported by the Sybase XML Editor default configuration

Some file extensions are associated with multiple editors; in these cases, the Sybase XML Editor may not be the default choice. You can change the default file associations and add file associations in the Eclipse preferences. Choose Window | Preferences | General | Editors. Select File Associations to display the file extensions defined in Eclipse and the editors that are associated with them.
