A cheat sheet is a view that opens in a perspective to guide you through complex tasks.
After launching a cheat sheet, you can use the cheat sheet steps to perform work or to guide you through work in the tooling.
The cheat sheet opens as a view in the active perspective.
At any time, only one cheat sheet can be open and active. If a cheat sheet is open and another is launched, the opened cheat sheet is closed before the new one is opened.
When a cheat sheet is closed, its completion status is automatically saved. The next time the cheat sheet is opened, the completion status is displayed.
After launching a cheat sheet, work through the steps in the order presented. For each step, you can choose actions that perform work automatically, allow you to perform the work, or allow you to skip optional steps.
The following table identifies the actions you may encounter when using the cheat sheets.

| Click to Begin: Allows you to start working with the cheat sheet. After selecting this action, the first step is expanded and other actions become available. Select it at any time from the Introduction to restart the cheat sheet. | |

| Click to Perform: Automatically performs the work in the tooling. For example, with a step that describes how to launch a wizard, when you select Click to Perform, the wizard is launched automatically. | |

performed the work as described or because the work was complete before you started working with the cheat sheet. When the step

Click to Skip: Indicates that the described step is optional. You can perform the
step or to skip it. If you skip the step, the cheat sheet displays the skip step mark ( | |
| Click to Redo: Allows you to redo any step that is completed or has been skipped in the cheat sheet. To redo a step, click to expand the completed or skipped step and select Click to Redo. After redoing a step, the cheat sheet continues from the redo step. |

| Allows you to select and open another cheat sheet. The completion status of the active cheat sheet is saved, the active cheat sheet is closed, and the new cheat sheet is opened. | |
| Minimizes the cheat sheet in the view. | |
| Maximizes the cheat sheet to full size in the perspective. | |
| Closes the cheat sheet. The completion status is saved, allowing you to return to the cheat sheet and continue work. |
