The following table describes the activities and operators in the Activities tool palette.

 | Complex | A container for activities. Click the container to open it to add activities. When the complex activity is opened, it contains a canvas similar to the Business Process Service canvas. To return the complex activity to its icon state, click Minimize in its title bar. |
