Adding Component Support to a Web Application Project

Component support adds .jar and .tld files to a project.

You can add the following component support to a Web Application project:

Add component support either when you create a Web Application project using a blank template or in the properties of an existing project. You can also add user-defined component support. See Setting Web Application Development Component Support Preferences.

To add component support to an existing project:

  1. Right-click the Web Application project to which you want to add component support in the WorkSpace Navigator and select Properties from the context menu.

The Properties for <projectname> dialog box opens.

  2. Select Component Support in the left pane.

Component Support appears in the right pane.

  3. Select the components that you want your Web application to support.

  4. Click OK.

The settings do not take affect until you exit and restart the application.

  5. Select File|Exit from the main menu bar to exit the application.

When you restart Sybase WorkSpace, the component support you selected is in affect.
