Defining the Login Configuration of a Web Application

You can define the login configuration for your Web application.

To add login configuration:

Select web.xml in the WorkSpace Navigator of the Web Application Development perspective.
The web.xml editor opens.
Select the Pages tab of the editor.
The Pages page appears.
Expand the Login Configuration section.
Click the arrow in the Authentication field and select authentication type from the drop-down list.
(Optional) Type the realm in the Realm name field.
(Optional) Click Browse adjacent to the Error page field and select the error page that you want to use..
(Optional) Click Browse adjacent to the Login page field and select the login page that you want to use..
