Adding an Environment Entry to a Web Application

You can add environment entries to your Web application.

To add a environment entry:

Select web.xml in the WorkSpace Navigator of the Web Application Development perspective.
The web.xml editor opens.
Select the Other tab of editor.
The Other page appears.
Expand Environment Entry .
A list of defined environment entries is displayed and a General Information section appears.
Click Add.
A new environment entry is added to the list with the default name NewEnvEntryx.
Change the default name to a unique, descriptive name in the Name field of the General Information section.
Type the value in the Value field.
Click the arrow in the Type field and select the environment type.
