Resolving a Quartz RMI Registry Port Conflict

To resolve port conflicts for the Quartz RMI Registry, change the default port number 2099 in the Quartz properties file.

To resolve a Quartz RMI registry port conflict:

  1. Open the following files using a text editor:

    Server Files

    FeatureSybase Developer Edition ServersUnwired Orchestrator Production Edition Server
    Quartz RMI Registry

    <installation directory>\Workspace\DevRuntimes\UO\quartz\quartz.properties

    <installation directory>\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\UO\quartz\ quartzServer.properties

    <installation directory>\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\EAServer\bin\quartz.properties

    <installation directory>\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\EAServer\devbin\ quartz.properties

    <installation directory>\Orch-5_1\quartz\quartz.properties

    <installation directory>\Orch-5_1\quartz\ quartzServer.properties

    <installation directory>\Orch-5_1\EAServer\bin\quartz.properties

    <installation directory>\Orch-5_1\EAServer\devbin\ quartz.properties

  2. Search for instances of port number 2099 in this file and change the default port number to a new, unused Quartz server port number.

  3. Save and close the file.

  4. Close and relaunch Sybase WorkSpace.
