Setting Up JMS Drivers for Runtime

You must set up JMS driver classes for runtime for inbound and outbound messaging transports that are dependent on external JMS database or messaging providers.

To set up JMS drivers for runtime:

  1. Stop the Unwired Orchestrator server. Choose from the following:

  2. See your JMS provider product documentation to locate the .jar or .zip files associated with the driver and .dll files if the implementation includes native code.

  3. Extract .jar and .zip files containing Java classes to the runtime server directory. Choose from the following:

    Runtime Server Directories

    Server TypeLocation

    Unwired Orchestrator Developer Edition

    <installation directory>\DevRuntimes\EAServer\java\classes

    Unwired Orchestrator Production Edition

    <installation directory>\EAServer\java\classes

  4. If the driver uses .dll files, copy the files to the following directory:

    <installation directory>\JDK1.4.2_06\jre\bin

  5. Restart the Unwired Orchestrator server. Choose from the following:
