Connecting to the Sybase WorkSpace UDDI Server

Connect to the UDDI Registry using the Enterprise Explorer.

To connect to the UDDI Registry server:

Start the Sybase WorkSpace UDDI Registry.
Open the following file and note the port number in use:
<installation directory>\DevRuntimes\EAServer\Repository\Listener\Jaguar_http.props
Note
The port number varies depending on the number of EAServer installations you have running at installation.

Create a UDDI Registry connection profile using the following information:

UDDI Connection Details

Property	Description
Commonly used registries	Sybase Private Test Registry
Inquiry URL	Replace localhost with the machine name or IP address from the `Jaguar_http.props` file, using the following format: `http://localhost:8080/uddi-server/inquiry` Replace the port number with the `Jaguar_http.props` port number.
Publish URL	Replace localhost with the machine name or IP address from the `Jaguar_http.props` file, using the following format: `http://localhost:8080/uddi-server/publish` Replace the port number with the `Jaguar_http.props` port number.
User ID	Enter jagadmin.
Password	Use a null password. Leave blank.

The UDDI Registry connection profile automatically connects to the UDDI registry server chen you click Finish.
