Connecting to the Sybase WorkSpace UDDI Server

Before you can connect to the UDDI registry, do the following.

Start the UDDI registry.
Open the <installation directory>\DevRuntimes\EAServer\Repository\Listener\Jaguar_http.props file.
Note the com.sybase.jaguar.listener.port=8090 value.
To connect to the UDDI registry directly from the WorkSpace Navigator, create a UDDI Registry connection profile, selecting Sybase Private Test Registry from the Commonly used registries menu. Below are the default settings.
- Query URL: http://localhost:8080/uddi-server/inquiry
- Publish URL: http://localhost:8080/uddi-server/publish
- Username: jagadmin
- Password: The jagadmin password
In the Query URL and Publish URL fields, do the following:
1. Replace localhost with the machine name or IP address from the Jaguar_http.props file.
2. Replace the port number with the Jaguar_http.props port number.
The UDDI Registry connection profile automatically connects to the UDDI registry.
