Stopping the Sybase WorkSpace Servers

You can stop the servers from the Windows Start menu or the command line. The servers available to you depend on the component selection made at the time of installation.

To stop the servers from the Windows Start menu:

Choose from the following.

Server	Description
Adaptive Server Anywhere 9.0	Double-click the ASA icon located in the Icon Tray to open the ASA console. Click Shutdown.
EAServer 5.2	Select Start \| Programs \| Sybase \| Sybase WorkSpace \| EAServer 5.2 \| Stop EAServer
Unwired Accelerator 7.0	Select Start \| Programs \| Sybase \| Sybase WorkSpace \| UA 7.0 \| Stop UA (EAServer)
Unwired Orchestrator 5.0	Select Start \| Programs \| Sybase \| Sybase WorkSpace \| UO 5.0 \| Stop UO

To stop the servers from the command line:

Run the Stop script. Choose from the following:

Developer Edition Servers	Start Script	Description
Adaptive Server Anywhere 9.0.2	Choose from the following: `<installation directory>\Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\ASA\stopDemo.bat` `<installation directory>\Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\ASA\stopWebDemo.bat`	Stop the ASA developer edition server or the ASA developer edition server with Web Services support.
EAServer 5.2	`<installation directory>\Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\EAServer\bin\serverstop.bat`	Stop EAServer developer edition server and verify that the Unwired Orchestrator developer edition server is already running.
Unwired Orchestrator 5.0	`<installation directory>\Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\UO\bin\or50rtimeEAS_stop.cmd`	Stop the Unwired Orchestrator developer edition server.
Unwired Accelerator 7.0	`<installation directory>\Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\UA\eas\stopua_eas.bat`	Stop the Unwired Accelerator developer edition server.
