Opening the Runtime Management Console

Use an Internet browser to log on to the Runtime Management Console.

To login to the Runtime Management Console:

Prerequisites:

Verify that your runtime server is up and running.
Note the HTTP port setting in the <installation directory>\Sybase\WorkSpace\DevRuntimes\EAServer\eas_install.props file. You will need this information to enter the URL. The default setting is 8080.
Verify that you have the prerequisite software for the Java Runtime Environment. If not, you will be prompted to install this software when you attempt to open the Runtime Management Console. Click OK to go to the Java Web site for a free download of the Java plugin.

Open a web browser.
Enter the following URL address:
http://<hostname>:8080/RTConsole/
where <hostname> is the name of the computer running the application server and the socket port for HTTP.
The Login window opens.
Log in to Runtime Management Console. Enter the following and click OK:

Field Description
User Name
Enter jagadmin.
Password
Enter your jagadmin password.
The default password is null.
The Runtime Management Console opens.
