Use the New Alert Definition wizard to name an alert message and define its content.
Alert Message Properties
| Type | Description |
|---|---|
Name | Type a unique and descriptive name for the alert message. Alert Message names are limited to 30 bytes. If your encoding setting uses multi-byte characters, you may not be able to enter 30 characters. See Supported Encoded Character Sets and Locales for more information. |
Short Text | Type a brief alert message text. |
Long Text | Type a detailed alert message text. |
Click Next to define transport and channel alert message properties.
