Defining Channels and Transports for Alert Messages

Use the New Alert Definition wizard to define the transports and channels that specify source and target channels and transports for alert messages.

Transport and Channel Properties

Type	Description
Logical Transport Name	Enter the target transport to which the alert message are sent or select an option from the drop-down list.
Channel Name	Define the source channel from which alert message are received: Enter a channel name, or select one from the drop-down list. Click Add. The Channel List is populated. (Optional) Deliver alert messages from multiple channels. Repeat step 1.
Channel List	(Optional) Remove items from the Channel list. Select an item, and click Remove.
