Defining Alert Generation Properties

The New Alert Generation Definition wizard allows you define the status to apply to a message or object when an alert message is generated.

Alert Generation Properties

Property	Procedure
Status	Identify the status to apply to the message or object when the alert message is generated. Add a new status by typing in the field. Select an existing status from the drop-list. Status names are limited to 15 bytes. If your encoding setting uses multi-byte characters, you may not be able to enter 15 characters. See Supported Encoded Character Sets and Locales for more information.
Seconds Status Unchanged	Specify the limit for the number of seconds that a status remains unchanged.
