Edit alert message properties using the Properties view in the Monitor Design perspective.
To edit alert message properties:
In the editor view, expand the SetType | Alert Messages category.
Select the field definition that you want to edit.
The <AlertMessageName> information displays in the Properties view.
Edit one of the following values by entering or selecting a value from the drop-down list.
Alert Message Properties
| Type | Description |

Alert Generation Limit | Defines how frequently this alert message is sent. Choose one of the following from the drop-down list: Default: Generates a single alert per tracking ID when Alert Generation is used. Per Tracking ID: Generates the maximum of one alert per Tracking ID per <Interval Hours>. Across All Tracking IDs: Generates the maximum of one alert per SetType per<Interval Hours>. |
Alert Interval Hours | Defines in hours how frequently this alert message is generated. |
Long Text | Provides detailed alert message text. |
Short Text | Provides brief alert message text. |
Status | Identifies the status to apply when the alert message is generated. |
Transport Name | Specifies the transport to which the alert messages are sent. |
