The Monitor Design perspective provides the tools you need to set up components for a monitor service. You have the option of customizing the perspective by adding to, reorganizing, or deleting the following collection of default views.
Default Views
| View | Description |

WorkSpace Navigator | Displays project resources in a tree view. |
NewMonitorDesign.bt | Allows you to create and edit SetType definitions and component definitions. To refresh your connection to the monitor server, select Monitor Design|Refresh Server from the menu bar. |
Properties | Displays names and values for the selected resource. Resource properties can be added and edited from this view. By default, Properties is located in the Fast View shortcut bar. |
Outline | Displays the structural elements of the resource that is currently open in the editor using a tree view. By default, Outline is located in the Fast View shortcut bar. |
Tasks | Displays a list of remaining tasks that need to be done. You can also add reminders to this list. |
