When configuring a field or container that uses a delimiter, or literal tag, as its Termination Type (Delimiter, Minimum Length & Delimiter, or Minimum Length & White Space), you must define the literal value.
In Container Properties or Field Properties, click
to enter a delimiter value.The Value and Type Settings dialog appears.
Select String if you want to enter the delimiter value as a character string, for example, ;; or select Binary if you want to enter the delimiter value as a hexadecimal string, for example, 3b3b.
In the Enter Delimiter Value field, enter the literal tag that identifies the end of the field or container, for example, ;;.
Click OK.
