With stateful services, you can control individual, long running, stateful service instances by pausing one instance without impacting the operation of the others. When a service instance is paused, any events that arrive for it are placed on an error queue. Once the service instance is resumed, the Message Reprocessing feature enables you to review, edit, and reprocess those events using the Monitor Console.
To manage a stateful service:
Pause or resume a business process service runtime instance.
Review, edit, and reprocess events that were placed on an error queue during the Pause state.
See Reprocessing Messages in the Runtime Management Console help for more information.
