The Transformation Service Editor uses nine tool palettes into which the transformation functions are organized for use in the Transformation Rule section of the Map tab. You can access the functions using the Tool Palette view. Alternately, you can add a function to the Expression canvas by right-clicking and selecting the function.
In the Tool Palette view, functions for transformation are displayed when you select a connector in the Map canvas.
To develop your own functions and add them to the Tool Palette, see Writing User-Defined Extension Classes.
