Type mapping is a way to map between a Java class and SOAP data. On the Type Mapping page of the EAServer 5.x Services Package Profile editor, you can specify the type mapping to be used for the services in this package. Changes made in the package profile definition are used for this profile only and do not change the basic service. This page contains two sections:
| Type Mapping | Displays the Java classes used in the service that is highlighted in Sybase WorkSpace. You can add, edit, or remove items from this list. |
| Bean Mapping | Allows you to add Java beans that map to the Java class highlighted in the Type Mapping section. You can add, edit, or remove items from this list. |
