Deploying to a Standalone EAServer Installation

If you have a standalone installation of EAServer 5.2, you can opt to apply the add-on Common Service Bus and deploy services to that installation.

To deploy to a standalone EAServer installation:

  1. Install the EAServer EBF. See Sybase EBFs and software maintenance in the About this Book section of the Sybase WorkSpace 1.0 Installation Guide.

  2. Install the Unwired Orchestrator server to obtain the Common Service Bus add-on. To install the server, launch the Sybase WorkSpace installer and select Unwired Orchestrator 5.0 Development Edition, under Business Process and Integration Development .

  3. Run the Configurator. See the Sybase WorkSpace 1.0 Installation Guide for details about running the Configurator.

  4. Create a Service Container connection profile for the EAServer instance under the Service Containers category in the Enterprise Explorer.

  5. Develop an Sybase services package profile.

  6. Deploy the Sybase services package.
