Creating an Unwired Orchestrator (JBoss) Connection Profile

To supply the runtime connection information for an Unwired Orchestrator endpoint that uses JBoss, create an Unwired Orchestrator (JBoss) connection profile. Alternately, you can create a connection profile for Unwired Orchestrator using EAServer.

  1. In the Enterprise Explorer, right-click Integration Servers and select New.

  2. In the Wizard Selection page, select Unwired Orchestrator (JBoss) Connection Profile and click Next.

  3. Complete the following information on the wizard pages (supplied by the Unwired Orchestrator server administrator):

    Name and Description page

    NameFor example, YourUOserver.
    DescriptionFor example, uodev01.
    Auto-ConnectSelect the check box to automatically connect to the server and display its contents in the Enterprise Explorer. This happens whenever the Enterprise Explorer is opened.

    Server Properties page

    FieldDescription
    HostFor example, uodev01.mycorp.com.
    PortFor example, 1099.
    User NameFor example, admin.
    Password

    Enter the Unwired Orchestrator password if required.

  4. Test the connection information by clicking Test Connection.

    If the message Ping Succeeded appears, the connection is working. If an error appears, check the connection information.

  5. Click Next.

    The Summary Page appears. Click Back to modify any of the information.

  6. Click Finish.

    The connection profile icon appears in the Enterprise Explorer under the Integration Servers folder. If you selected Auto-Connect in the Name and Description page, the icon contains a small green arrow small green arrow indicating the connection profile is connected.
