The Interface page allows you to review, add, remove, or edit parts of a service. Service types, such as message service and database service allow you to edit the interface and its components. Other services, such as EJB, allow you to review and not edit the interface.
Depending on the service type, you can typically perform the following tasks from the Interface page:
Add a single operation to a service interface. This task varies depending on service type.
Add an endpoint.
Edit operation properties. This task varies depending on service type.
View source code. This task varies depending on service type.
Edit binding operation properties if you have done early binding.
Add or remove service components in the Service Interface section and edit or configure those components in the Properties table.
When you highlight the Service or Interface graphic, the corresponding properties become visible and can be edited in the Properties table. When you highlight the Operation graphic, both the properties and operation parameters become visible and can be edited in the Properties table. When you add a new operation parameter, you can change the default information for that operation in the Properties table.
