Tool Palettes

Tool palettes provide the activities and operators that you use in an editor.

The following table describes when you would use the activities and operators in a tool palette.

Tool palettes and their descriptions

Tool palette	Description
Logic	The decision points that identify the type of rule or activity flow to apply to the data.
Exception Processing	A work task, such as compensation, fault handling, or timeout. Activities that are used for abnormal processing, such as the unavailability of a data base or receiving an error response from an invoked service.
Interface	The interaction with external sources.
Activities	Assign, Complex, Delay and Undefined.
Boolean Functions	Boolean operators used in expressions.
Number Functions	Number functions used in expressions.
String Functions	String functions used in expressions.
Node Set Functions	Count, local name, namespace-uri, and name used in expressions.
Generic Variable and Constants	String, integer, decimal, date, time, date time, and boolean constants.
