The following options are on the main menu bar Edit menu.
Edit menu options
| Menu option | Description |

| Undo | Reverse the most recent editing action.
NoteIf you make a change in an editor, switch to a different editor tab, then return to the editor where you made the change, Undo no longer works. Undo works only if you remain in the editor where you made the change. |
| Redo | Reapplies the editing action that
was removed by Undo.

| Cut | Removes the selection and puts it on the clipboard for further use. |
| Copy | Copies the selection and places it on the clipboard for further use. |
| Paste | Copies the text or object from the clipboard to the active location of the cursor. |
| Delete | Removes the current selection. |
| Select All | Selects all text or objects in the active text editor. |
| Find/Replace | Allows you to search for an expression in the active text editor and optionally replace the expression. |
| Add Bookmark | Adds a bookmark in the active file on the line where the cursor is currently displayed. |
| Add Task | Adds a task in the active file on the line where the cursor is currently displayed. |
| The following options display only when a text editor is open. | |
