Creating M-Business Web Channels

Use the M-Business view to create, edit, and delete M-Business Anywhere Web channels. You can only create Web channels in servers with groups defined. See Creating M-Business Groups.

To add a Web channel:

  1. To access the M-Business view, select Windows|Show View|M-Business on the main menu.

  2. In the M-Business view, click the pull-down menu on the local toolbar, and select New|Web Channel.

    Hide From Users

Check this property to prevent pages that were previously downloaded to a user's mobile device from being overwritten by an error page when the page is not available in a later sync.

See the M-Business Administation Guide for more information about this property.

    Refresh

Accept the default refresh rate of Every Sync, or select the rate of refresh from these options:

    • Only Once – syncs the Web channel once.

    • Every Sync – this is the default refresh rate.

    • Every Hour(s) – enter the interval in hours for how often the Web channel refreshes.

    • Daily – when you select this option, you can set the time at which you want the Web Channel to refresh from the drop-down lists.

You can also select specific days of the week that you want the refresh to take place by selecting the checkbox next to the day.

  3. Click OK.
