Use the M-Business view to create, edit, and delete M-Business Anywhere Web channels. You can only create Web channels in servers with groups defined. See Creating M-Business Groups.
To add a Web channel:
To access the M-Business view, select Windows|Show View|M-Business on the main menu.
In the M-Business view, click the pull-down menu on the local toolbar, and select New|Web Channel.
Create new Web channel
Field | Description |

Name | Enter the name of the new Web channel. |
Location | Enter the URL of the channel content. Click Preview to preview the channel content, then close the window. |
Group | Select a group from the drop-down list. |
Channel Size Limit | Enter the maximum size that the entire channel can consume, such as 100, for 100KB. |
Link Depth | Enter a number, such as “0” to indicate how many levels of hypertext links to traverse from the first page of the channel when downloading channel content to the device. |
Color Depth | Select a value, such as “Automatic,” from the drop-down list. |
Include Images | Select this option to include all the images from the channel. |
Follow Offsite Links | Select this option if M-Business Anywhere Server must fetch an HTTP address or other Web-based content from a server other than the one that hosts the channel. |
Allow Binary Distribution | Select this option if the channel is a binary file, for example, an .exe or .dll file. |
Hide From Users | Check this property to hide the channel subscription from a user. A user will not see this channel listed either in the M-Business Anywhere server Personal Mode interface or in the M-Business Anywhere client on the device. Hiding a channel is useful when you are syncing binary files. |
Override 400 Error Handling | Check this property to prevent pages that were previously downloaded to a user's mobile device from being overwritten by an error page when the page is not available in a later sync. See the M-Business Administation Guide for more information about this property. |
Refresh | Accept the default refresh rate of Every Sync, or select the rate of refresh from these options:
