Use the Mobile Application Configuration dialog to define administration properties.
From the Administration section, you can define a mobile application's administrative properties. The Administration window is available from the Mobile Application editor. See Setting Mobile Development Preferences if you cannot view the Administration section. The Administration section includes these options:
Administration:
Category – select a category and subcategory that best fit this mobile application.
Description – an optional description.
Status – select the status folder for this mobile application from the drop-down list. Status is enabled only when versioning is disabled. Status indicates which folder this mobile application appears. You can drag and drop a mobile application from one folder to another to change its status. Publishing mobile applications as Web services and deploying to mobile devices only appear as options for mobile applications that are “Approved.”
Notes – an optional note.
Options – additional options include:
Active – only mobile applications with an approved status, and marked as active are available to Unwired Accelerator users.
Versioning – select this option to create a new version of the mobile application each time you save it. Subsequent versions have new version numbers. When versioning is enabled, the Status option is disabled since all versioned mobile applications are placed in the New status folder.
Roles – select the checkbox next to each role to add it to the assigned roles list, which specifies which roles can access this mobile application. You can use the Select All and the Deselect All buttons to select or unselect all roles. See Roles for more information.
User accounts that belong to a role that is an assigned role are the only user accounts that can access this mobile application.
