Add Web Service Content to This Mobile Application

This procedure guides you through the process of adding Web service content to the mobile application:

  1. Select the Click to Perform icon (which is the equivalent of selecting the Web Service element icon in the Definition section of the mobile application editor). The Web Service Element wizard opens.

  2. Enter http://www.xmethods.net/sd/2001/CATrafficService.wsdl as the WSDL URL then click Get Methods.

  3. Once the search completes, choose the method CATrafficPortType:getTraffic from the drop-down box.

    Under Presentation, select Enable Grid Rules, and cick the Search button next to the Content XSLT to select the XSL template for the mobile application.

  4. In the Select XSL Template dialog, click Search. A list of available templates displays.

  5. Select the template you wan to use from the list, and click OK.

  6. In the Web Service Element dialog, click Next.

  7. In the Parameters dialog, you can double-click any of the fields to see or edit the properties. Double-click Default Value to enter the default value. For example, 580 (a freeway in northern California). Click OK. Click Finish.

  8. You exit the Web Service Element wizard and return to the mobile application editor. Select the Definition screen, and the newly added Web service element displays.
