When you select the Users folder and right-click a user name from the list, you can add, update, and delete users. You can also view a list of all the channels accessible to a user by right-clicking on the user and selecting List Channels.
Right-click the Users folder and select Arrange Users By to arrange users by:
User Name
First Name
Last Name
You can add users to the M-Business server using either the M-Business view, or the Mobile Administration view.
To add new users in the M-Business view:
In the local toolbar for the M-Business view, select New|User.
In the Create New User dialog, complete the following:
Create new user
Field | Description |
---|---|
Connection Profile | Select the connection profile where the user is located from the drop-down list. |
User Name | Enter a name for the user. |
First Name | Enter the user's first name. |
Last Name | Enter the user's last name. |
Password | Enter a password for the user. |
Confirm Password | Enter the password again to confirm. |
Click OK.
To create users in the Mobile Administration view:
Under the Users folder, right-click the user you want to create in the M-Business server and select Create in M-Business.
To edit users:
In the M-Business view, select the Users folder, right-click the user, and select Edit.
In the Edit User dialog, change the desired information, and click OK.
To delete users:
In the M-Business view, select the Users folder, right-click the user you want to delete, and select Delete.
