Creating Mobile Pages

Use the New Mobile Page wizard to create a new mobile page.

Note

The Mobile Pages folder appears in WorkSpace Navigator only if you have selected Mobile Development Portal in Window|Preferences|General|Capabilites. See Setting Capabilities Preferences.

To create a mobile page:

  1. Select File|New|Other|Mobile Development|Mobile Page to launch the New Mobile Page wizard.

  2. Specify the following information:

    Connection ProfileSelect the connection profile from the drop-down list, or click Create Profile to create a new connection profile.
    Mobile Page NameEnter a name for the mobile page.
    StatusSelect the status of the mobile page from the drop-down menu.
  3. Click Finish. This creates a mobile page without any content and launches the mobile page editor.

  4. Use the Layout page of the mobile page editor to add mobile applications to the page.

  5. Save the mobile page by selecting File|Save As from the main menu. Enter a name for the mobile page and click OK.

    You can also save existing mobile pages by selecting File|Save from the main menu. f it is a new mobile page that you have not yet name, you are prompted to enter a name for the mobile page.

  6. Deploy the mobile page by right-clicking on the mobile page and selecting Deploy. This updates the UA server and portal interface.
