Generating and Editing BlackBerry 40 Templates

This section describes how to generate a new BlackBerry 4.0 template, or edit an existing one:

Appearance

  • Font – enter the name of the font to use for the header and fields, or select a font for the header and fields from the drop-down list.

  • Font Size – the size of the header and fields, which must be an integer between 1 and 16.

  • Font Color – the color of the font. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Color – select the color of the mobile application. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Header

  • Background Color – the color of the header background. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Text Color – the color of the header text. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Row

  • Row Text Color – the color of the row text for the mobile application. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Alternate Row Color – allows you to alternate row text by color:

    • Even Row Background Color – select a color for the even rows. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

    • Odd Row Background Color – select a color for the odd rows. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

  • Row Background Color – available if Alternate Row Color is not selected. Allows you to select the background color of the field data. Click the color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

CGI Parameter
  • Parameter Input Field Size – the input field size for CGI parameters.

  • Button Text – the text that displays for the OK button.
