Generating and Editing WAP WML Templates
This section describes how to generate a new WAP-WML template, or edit an existing one:
New templates – after clicking the Generate WAP-WML Template icon, complete the
properties described below, or accept the defaults. Go to the Preview page to view your
changes. Click OK when finished. Select File|Save As, and
name your new template.
Existing templates – double-click the template you want to edit. The mobile template
editor displays. Click the Generate WAP-WML Template icon. This is the only active icon for existing WAP-WML templates. Edit
the properties described below. Go to the Preview page to view your changes. Click
OK when finished. Select File|Save, to save your
changes.

Property type | Description |

Font – enter the name of the font for the header and fields, or select a font for the
header and fields from the drop-down list.
Font Size – the size of the header and fields, which must be an integer between 1 and
16.
Font Color – the color of the font. Click the color bar to display the color palette.
Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new
color.
Color – select the color of the mobile application. Choose from the existing palette,
or click Define Custom Colors to define a new color.

Header |
Background Color – the color of the header background. Click the color bar to display
the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define
a new color.
Text Color – the color of the header text. Click the color bar to display the color
palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define a new
color.

Row |
Row Text Color – the color of the row text for the mobile application. Click the
color bar to display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom
Colors to define a new color.
Alternate Row Color – allows you to alternate row text by color:
Even Row Background Color – select a color for the even rows. Click the color bar to
display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors
to define a new color.
Odd Row Background Color – select a color for the odd rows. Click the color bar to
display the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors
to define a new color.
Row Background Color – available if Alternate Row
Color is not selected. Allows you to select the background color of the field data. Click the color bar to display
the color palette. Choose from the existing palette, or click Define Custom Colors to define
a new color.
