User access to mobile applications and templates is based on roles, which are defined on the Unwired Accelerator server. Users are assigned roles. If an object is assigned a role the user has access to, they can access the object. Roles are assigned to Unwired Accelerator resources such as mobile applications and templates. A user must belong to a role that is assigned to the mobile application or template to have access to it.

From Sybase WorkSpace, you can assign roles to mobile applications (Administration tab on the mobile application editor) and templates (Properties tab on the template editor). Assign roles from the available roles by selecting the checkbox next to each. This adds them to the assigned roles, which determines which roles can access the resource (mobile application or template). If available, you can use the Select All and the Deselect All buttons to either select all roles or deselect all roles.
