Create custom field labels for data-capable elements. Combine multiple data-capable elements into a single table, sort records by a particular field, and modify the column order. You can map labels to table columns or rows. A mapped element is created when you map a grid element that has one or more columns mapped to mobile application labels.
The mobile application labels page is available from the mobile application's editor screen. It consists of:
Defined Labels - you can define, edit, and sort labels using:
Import - import column headers as labels.
Add - add a label to the list. Enter the name of the label in the New Label dialog.
Edit - modify the selected label.
Remove - removes the selected label from the list.
Remove All - removes all labels from the list.
Move Up - highlight a label and click Move Up to move the label up the list.
Move Down - highlight a label and click Move Down to move the label down the list.
Sort Records By - to sort the table records by one of the labels listed in the drop-down list, select the label and select either Ascending or Descending, to sort the records in ascending or descending order.
Mapped Labels:
Click the name of a data-capable element in the Element list. This displays the element field labels below the element name and the associated label drop-down lists.
Select a label from the drop-down list associated with an element field. The element is added to a new mapped element within the element list. The mapped element has a cell position drop-down list.
Use Map All to map all labels to elements. Use Unmap All to unmap all labels.
