Editing a Replication Definition

Once you have created a replication definition, you can edit the definition in SQL editor. To edit an existing replication definition, use the following procedure.

  1. Open Enterprise Explorer, and connect to your Replication Server.

  2. Expand the view for your Replication Server connection profile, right-click a primary database in which to edit the replication definition, and expand the folder appropriate for the kind of replication definition you want to edit. There are folders for Database Replication Definitions , Function Replication Definitions , and Table Replication Definitions . Find the replication definition you want to edit.

  3. Right-click the replication definition, and choose Edit from the context menu. The replication definition opens in SQL Editor. Both the original replication definition and an automatically generated alter command skeleton are displayed.

  4. Edit the command skeleton. To save your changes, right-click in SQL Editor and choose Save As... or Save to Server, or choose Save to Server from the Database Tools menu in Sybase Workspace.
