A Replication Server article is an extension to a replication definition allowing table replication definitions or function replication definitions to be part of a publication. Because an article is associated with a publication, you should make sure you have created a publication before creating an article. To create Replication Server articles from Workspace, use the following procedure.
Open Enterprise Explorer, and connect to your Replication Server.
Expand the view for your Replication Server connection profile, right-click a primary database for which to create the articles, and choose New Artifact from the context menu.
From the wizard selection screen, select Article creation wizard, and click Next to start the wizard. You can also start this wizard from the Publications folder by expanding an existing publication, right-clicking on the Articles folder, and choosing New Article from the context menu.
Modify the following fields.

The changes made in this wizard page appear in the Preview field.
Click Finish to create the article. If the article is successfully created, it appears in the Articles folders for the specified replication definition and publication.
