There are three types of database objects and services that you can develop with Sybase WorkSpace Database Development:
SQL files: Typically, these are SQL statements or portions of code that you may plan to use in a procedural object.
Procedural objects: These form the building blocks of your database application that you can then integrate into a business process.
Messaging statements (or constructs): These are functions that allow you to develop real-time messaging services.
Tables and views. You can create and edit tables and views using Database Explorer.
Web services. You can expose SQL files and stored procedures as ASA web service producers or you can create an ASE web services consumer.
