Sybase® WorkSpace enables provisioning and integration of heterogeneous data from multiple sources into a single enterprise-wide data catalog. It provides the following Data Federation tooling.
A graphical, metadata-driven modeling tool for developing data integration services that lets you combine data from heterogeneous data sources, such as real-time, historical, and third-party data. You can also provision or search for data sources and import or create schema models to build data services.
The following guides provide complete information about using the Data Federation tooling:
Avaki Overture: Explains concepts related to use, installation, and administration of an Avaki domain. It also describes the components and structure of an Avaki domain, including the roles of the various Avaki servers, the purpose of Avaki Studio, and the contents of the Avaki data catalog.
Avaki Studio: Explains how to use the tooling to provision data sources into the Avaki catalog, create data services that combine and transform data, and manage your data catalog.
