The latest RH3 update that includes the required patch
is RH3.0 Update 6 after the RH kernel 2.4.21-27.6.EL. The patch
must be used, at the minimum, on a 64-bit kernel level. See “Running on RH3.0 64-bit distribution occasionally stops responding”for more detail.
Adaptive Server running on Linux
on Power does not support the Job Scheduler, XA Interface, Directory
Services, and Web Services. In addition, the following optional
packages are currently not available on Linux on Power: High Availability
(HA), Distributed Transaction Management (DTM), and Enhanced Full
Text Search (EFTS).
