RTDS compatibility with Adaptive Server 15.0.3
Sybase Real-Time Data Service (RTDS) versions 4.0 and 4.5 are not certified
on Adaptive Server 15.0.3. If you have RTDS 4.0 or 4.5, and you upgrade
Adaptive Server to version 15.0.3, RTDS messaging stops. To use
the RTDS feature, upgrade to:
- RTDS 4.5 ESD#1, which works with Adaptive Server 15.0.3 (in other words, RTDS 4.5 GA does not work with Adaptive Server 15.0.3)
- RTDS 4.5 ESD#2, which works with Adaptive Server 15.0.3 ESD#1 (in other words, RTDS 4.5 ESD#1 does not work with Adaptive Server 15.0.3 ESD#1)
Password compatibility with Replication Server
The master databases in Adaptive Server 15.0.3 and later can replicate only to 15.0.2 and later
installations.
Installing Enterprise Connect Data Access (ECDA) or MainframeConnect™ DirectConnect™ for z/OS with other Sybase software
Sybase strongly recommends you install the ECDA DirectConnect
option or MainframeConnect DirectConnect for z/OS, including
DirectConnect Manager, into its own product directory.
Installing Replication Server with other Sybase software
Sybase strongly recommends that you install Replication Server,
including Replication Server Manager (RSM), in its own product directory,
separate from other Sybase products.
Copy menu
Job Scheduler context menus are nonstandard. The options on
the Copy menu do not copy to the clipboard, but create new objects
in sybmgmtdb.
