Creating an Extension Embedded in Your Model

You can create an extension embedded in your model.

1. Open your model, and then select Model > Extensions to open the List of Extensions.
2. Click the Add a Row tool and enter a name for the new XEM.
3. Click the Properties tool to open the new XEM in the Resource Editor.
4. Define the appropriate object extensions and generation tasks for your extension, and then click OK to save it and return to your model.

   The new XEM is now attached to your model, and you can access any object extensions or generation tasks you have defined in the normal fashion.
