Sybase IQ is an extended version of the Adaptive Server Anywhere network server. The network server supports client/server communications across a network and multiple users.
To start the server, run the appropriate startup utility for your operating system:
On UNIX operating systems, use start_asiq.
On Windows operating systems, use start_asiq.exe.
