On UNIX, run the environment source file to set SYBASE_OCS. Installing Sybase IQ on UNIX does not automatically reset SYBASE_OCS, and if the value has been set by another Sybase product, that value remains in effect unless you unset SYBASE_OCS, and then run the source file. See the Sybase IQ Installation and Configuration Guide for details.
On Windows, the installation program sets SYBASE_OCS when it installs Open Client/Server Software Developers Kit.
