Controls whether zero-length varchars are treated as NULLs for insert/load/update purposes.

DBA permissions are not required to set this option. Can be set temporary, for an individual connection, or for the PUBLIC group. Takes effect immediately.
OFF
Description: This option lets you revert to non-ANSI (Version 12.03.1) behavior for treating zero-length VARCHAR data during load or update operations. When this option is set to OFF, zero-length varchars are stored as zero-length during load, insert, or update. When this option is set to ON, zero-length VARCHAR data is stored as NULLs on load, insert, or update.
