A property alias is an expression that retrieves a property from a received message. A BPEL4WS property is designed as a variable defined directly under the model.
You design a property alias construct using a data transformation object created under the model with a <<propertyAlias>> stereotype. Then, you use the Input Variable list and the Expression box to define which property has an alias.
